Filipino billionaire and ports tycoon Enrique Razon refuted claims by fabricators and critics against President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. that investors are losing faith in the Philippines.
Kami nag-iinvest,” Razon said in a recent interview on the country’s investment climate.
Razon also commended the Marcos administration for its business-friendly environment, particularly in the energy sector, contrary to the investment climate in the previous administration.
Malaking pera ‘yan, kaya hindi basta basta bukas, o next year, o kaya dalawang taon. Mga five to seven years, kaya paspasan nila ‘yung energy policies sa pagbukas ng market,” he stressed.
Razon also highlighted how crucial the President’s investment policies are, now that the Philippines has been affected by global crises, particularly due to the war in Ukraine.
Exposed tayo dyan. Kailangan mag-invest sa sarili nating oil and gas,” the Filipino tycoon said.
President Marcos, Razon stressed, has been pivotal to their decision to invest more in the nation’s energy sector, saying that the Chief Executive has been taking care of the country’s investment environment.
