PBBM leads the groundbreaking ceremony of the Cebu City South Coastal Urban Development Housing Project 1
Sa kaniyang unang pagbisita sa Cebu bilang Pangulo, inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na magbibigay ang pamahalaan ng 30,000 housing units para sa mga residente ng Cebu City. Ngayong araw, pinangunahan ni PBBM ang groundbreaking ceremony ng Cebu City South Coastal Urban Development Housing Project sa Barangay Basak San Nicolas na handog para sa halos 8,000 na informal settler families (ISFs) at low-wage earners sa lungsod. Sa unang phase ng proyekto, magtatayo ang Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development ng 10 na 20-storey buildings sa loob ng 25 na hektarya ng lupa na inilaan ng pamahalaan. Layon na makapagpatayo ng anim na milyon na housing units ang gobyerno hanggang sa 2028.

Nakipagpulong si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa pamunuan ng Meta upang talakayin ang digital infrastructure ng Pilipinas. Isa ang Meta sa mga katuwang ng Department of Information and Communications Technology sa inilunsad na National Fiber Backbone ngayong ika-19 ng Abril 2024.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led on Friday the grand launching of the National Fiber Backbone Phase 1 aimed to increase internet connectivity service capacity to various provinces, government offices and data centers in the country.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked Prime Minister Christopher Luxon for his dedication to strengthening the Philippines-New Zealand relationship during a state banquet. He also offered a toast to the well-being of the leaders and the mutual success of their governments, as well as to the forthcoming 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties. Prior to the banquet hosted in honor of the Prime Minister, the two leaders also exchanged gifts and posed for a photo session.

The Philippines and New Zealand agreed on Thursday to elevate their bilateral relationship to Comprehensive Partnership by 2026 to deliver real benefits and advance the two nations’ shared security and economic interests.

Following the ceremony, PBBM witnessed Prime Minister Luxon signing the guest book. They also engaged in a tête-à-tête, during which they discussed various bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest.
