The administration appeared to have steered the economy in the right direction as evidenced by recent economic figures, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said on Thursday, noting external forces however posed a challenge.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Wednesday evening to attend the 40th and 41st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits, his first participation in the summit as Philippine leader.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will stress the importance of regional cooperation on various issues during the 40th and 41st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Nagsagawa ng joint press briefing ang Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) at Department of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Philippines (DFA) upang bigyang-detalye ang pakikilahok ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa darating na 40th at 41st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit at mga kaugnay na pulong sa Phnom Penh, Cambodia mula Nobyembre 10 hanggang Nobyembre 13. Ayon kay OPS OIC-Usec. Cheloy Garafil, tatalakayin sa Summit ang pagtutulungan at pananaw ng mga pinuno ng ASEAN member states sa mga rehiyonal at pandaigdigang usapin. Habang nasa Cambodia, bibisitahin din ni PBBM ang Filipino community upang magbigay ng update sa mga programa ng administrasyon.
