House of Representatives Opens Second Regular Session of 19th Congress


The House of Representatives opens the Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress on 24 July 2023 to deliberate and approve the proposed 2024 national budget and fast-tracking the remaining priority bills identified by the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC).

Later today, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will address the Congress and other guests and dignitaries to deliver his first State of the Nation Address at the Plenary Hall of the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.
