PBBM on his SONA: still much more to report

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. admitted that he wanted to report more items in his second State of the Nation Address (SONA).

“Kulang pa,” the President remarked when asked if he was satisfied with his second SONA.

“There was so much to go through,” President Marcos said even as he reported the significant gains he made in his one year of administration.

Marcos said he will let the members of his cabinet expound further on the specific details of his SONA.

President Marcos delivered his second SONA at the Batasang Pambansa on Monday afternoon where he reported to the Filipino people on his achievements during the first year of his administration.

While he noted significant achievements in the country’s economy, health system, education and infrastructure, President Marcos said he is looking forward to the passage of priority legislations to uplift the lives of the Filipino people.

The chief executive also assured to continue the campaign against illegal drugs, but with a new face as it will focus on community-based treatment, rehabilitation, education, and reintegration to curb drug dependence among the affected citizenry. PND
