Emerald Anne Ridao is a Communication Arts graduate from the Assumption University of Thailand. She is an established digital media manager and strategist, and has served both Congress and Senate. Most notably, her work with then-Presidentiable Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s digital media campaign has catapulted her to higher recognition. Now, she serves as an Undersecretary under the Presidential Communications Office and holds the helm on delivering the Administration’s plans and policies through effective use of the nation’s digital assets.
He has graduated Communication Research from the University of the Philippines and has proceeded to lead an over two decade career as a seasoned media professional covering legal and political affairs, Chief Justice impeachment attempts and major elections, extensive reporting on Manila events and government agencies, notable crisis coverage, such as the nursing leakage scandal and the Marawi crisis. He has held versatile roles under GMA’s news programs. He is also well-decorated with multiple awards such as Best Travel Show Host, Outstanding TV Reporter, and Best Male News Anchor. His achievements have also led to be recognized as one of the "Men Who Matter '' by People Asia magazine, and received accolades from organizations like the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption, thd Public Attorney's Office, the Paragala Awards, and many more. Now, he covers the Malacanang beat and is an Anchor at GMA’s 24 Oras Weekend.
Toff Rada is the Head of Public Policy for TikTok, where he leads corporate engagement with government and external stakeholders in the Philippines and Malaysia. Toff has over 15 years of experience as a public affairs executive and media practitioner. Previously, he held leadership roles in industries such as Food & Beverage and Water Utilities. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Juris Doctor both from the University of the Philippines. He has also attended executive education courses in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore and the Columbia Business School.
Yves Gonzalez is part of the Government Affairs and Public Policy team of Google, leading efforts for the Philippines, Cambodia, and Laos. He works with government stakeholders and civil society in pursuit of Google’s mission to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. He is part of Google’s Asia Pacific AI working group, engaging with government and civil society stakeholders on the responsible use of AI
Former Kapuso reporter Richelle Sy-Kho is an AB Communication Arts graduate of De La Salle University. Upon graduation, she immediately joined GMA News and Public Affairs, where she worked as a reporter/anchor for 9 years covering various important events in the country. Her notable coverages include the impeachment of former President Joseph Estrada, EDSA People Power 2, and the 2001 and 2004 election coverages. As a member of the Malacañang Press Corps. She was also one of the few Filipino journalists who accompanied then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on her trip to Kuwait in 2003, a month before the War on Terror started. Now a licensed professional teacher, she is teaching senior high school at MGC New Life Christian Academy, particularly subjects like Oral Communication and Media and Information Literacy. She is also the ABM Coordinator, and the head adviser of the school publication, Lifenews. One of the board members of the Philippine Association for Media and Information Literacy or PAMIL, serving as its President. She believes that her experiences as a former journalist, a teacher and a mother will be a big help to PAMIL as she reaches out and educates more learners and educators, in its mission to promote MIL in the country.
Kathereen Jane Nagpala is the Programme Officer for Communication and Information at the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines, an attached agency of the Department of Foreign Affairs. In this capacity, she works for the promotion and cascading of UNESCO programmes in the field of communication and information in the Philippines. She serves as a member of the National Memory of the World Committee Secretariat. Concurrently, she serves as the focal person for youth programmes for the Philippine Biosphere Reserve Network and the Regional Coordinator for the UNESCO Man and Biosphere (MAB) Youth Community in Asia Pacific. She earned her degree in Public Administration at the University of the Philippines-Diliman
Melinda Quinones is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of the Philippines with 20 years of combined work experience in communication management, partnership development, and policy advocacy. Her extensive experience includes training numerous government communicators and community leaders, equipping them with essential communication and leadership skills. Melinda has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing several impactful public information campaigns in the Philippines, leaving a lasting mark on various causes and initiatives. In 2021, she received an alumni grant from the U.S. State Department through TechCamp and co-organized a social network of media and information literacy (MIL) advocates. This network's mission was to train ASEAN teachers on MIL curriculum integration.
