In her speech, Undersecretary for Digital Media Services Emerald Ridao emphasized before the UN the need to break the barriers that limit the power of women in reshaping the digital landscape across the globe and address the challenges that are blocking their full potential.

PCO's first Community Caravan in Visayas: Eastern Visayas State University! EVSU students enjoyed various “professional trials” offered by PCO and its attached agencies. The booths promoted media and information literacy, giving the students a taste of what working in radio and broadcasting feels like. The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) met with the Japanese Ministry of Information to explore collaboration in media relations. Discussions during the meeting, attended by PCO Usec. Gerald Baria, Asec. Patricia Kayle Martin, and Dir. Maria Rhona Daoang, covered topics on joint collaboration projects, capacity building and training, and initiatives supporting media and information literacy.
The PUPians demonstrated their talents at the TV and radio booths and engaged in games at the 'Maging Mapanuri' booth, showcasing their keen eye in spotting misinformation.
