PCO Pushes Gov’t Unified Messaging Strategy with UK GCSI Grid System Workshop
To further equip national government communicators against emerging threats, crises, and complex communication challenges, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) held a follow-up session on the “Introduction to the Grid System” on 19 November 2024, continuing a series of workshops aimed at enhancing government communication capabilities. This workshop focused on the UK Government Communication Service International (UK GCSI) Grid System, a framework designed to improve the planning and coordination of government announcements.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), and the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES) signed a memorandum of agreement on Tuesday, November 11, for the production of the “Tara, Nood tayo!” infomercial to promote the Bagong Pilipinas campaign of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. Signatories to the MOA were PCO Acting Secretary Cesar B. Chavez, MTRCB Chairperson Diorella Maria G. Sotto-Antonio, PIA Director General Katherine Chloe S. de Castro, and OES Assistant Secretary Jose Marcell Canlas.
