Ang parangal na iginawad kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Global Media and Information Literacy Week ay patunay sa dedikasyon ng pamahalaan sa tapat at mahusay na paghahatid ng kalidad na balita sa bawat Pilipino, maging sa malaya, ligtas, at responsableng pamamahayag sa bansa.
