When I was the Mayor of Davao City, eh bata pa rin siya noon, he was assigned in my area at siya ‘yung nagdala ng Scout Rangers doon, panahon ng magulo na Pilipinas.

Ito po’y laking Cotabato City and sabi ni Pastor Quiboloy nga, classmate niya ito si Delfin Lorezana and he was the valedictorian of his class. ‘Nong nasa PMA siya, valedictorian rin kaya mahusay na tao, very 
industrious. ‘Nong na-assign siya, gwapo siya, matangkad. Pero ngayon, gwapo pero walang buhok.[laughter]

Si Secretary Ramon Lopez po, siya po [inaudible] Go Negosyo [applause]; he’s now connected with government, ‘yung sa small scale and medium industries. Siya po ‘yung pinag—I’m spending billions dito sa 
gustong, ‘yung kayong umuwi at nagkaroon kayo ng idea, we will support the small medium industries para turuan muna kayo tapos nagbubuhos ho ako ng pera diyan.

Pahiramin kayo ng gobyerno at well in the fullness of God’s time, Inshallah you have to pay the government. But he is very good.

Another Secretary po sa Department of Transportation, classmate ko po ‘to law school sa San Beda, ito ‘yung valedictorian namin, Arthur Tugade. [applause]Ilocano galing Tugegarao.

Ito bilyonaryo na ‘to. He’s well-known. ‘Nong college pa kami, nagtatrabaho na sa Delgado brothers. On his own, he’s already a billionaire.

Ang ating Secretary sa Energy, si… ‘yung manager noon ng NAIA, si Alfonso Cusi. [applause] At ang ating Presidential Communications Office, ang hepe ho doon, si Secretary Martin Andanar. [applause]

At isa pong another Ilocano. Marami po sila dito sa Cabinet ko. Because sila ‘yung mahusay eh. Si General Esperon, he’s the Secretary… National Security Adviser ko po.

Then isang gwapong lalaki, pwede niyo itong pakantahin maya. [laughter]Actually, I don’t know saan ang gusto niya, hindi ko alam. Mag-Chief Presidential Legal Counsel o meron pang… mas gustong mag-artista 
pati… Singer, singer ‘yan siya. We have Secretary Abella, ang Presidential Spokesman. [applause]

Si Secretary Abul Khayr Alonto from Mindanao. [applause] Mindanao Development Authority. Marami ho akong mga kapatid na Muslim, sa aking Gabinete. Si Secretary Guiling Mamondiong. [applause] TESDA ho.

Another Ilocano at magiging Cabinet member ko one of these days. I have to talk to him. Si… ito ‘yung pinapadala n gating gobyerno noon, na particulary at the time ni President Gloria Arroyo, ‘yung may mga 
mass evacuation. Siya ‘yung inuutusan, si… general ito noon. General Roy Cimatu. [applause]

Ilocano rin. At ito naman ay taga-Maynila. Sila dito husband and wife. Senator Alan Cayetano [applause] and his lovely wife, Mayor Lani Cayetano. [applause]

Alam mo sa lahat ng travel ko abroad, nandiyan palagi ‘yan si Senator, he’s with me. Also as an adviser, sa lahat na bagay. And always kasama si Lani, they are inseparable. Kaya wala akong kaduda-duda na 
mabait talaga ito si Alan.

‘Yung nagiiwan ng asawa, ‘yun ang mga talagang walang—Congressman Aniceto Bertiz, sa ano ito, sectoral, party list, OFW.

And Charge Affaires ng ating, Charge, Imelda Panolong sa Riyadh. [applause]Ano ho ba ang pangalan nito ni Imee? We only know her as Imee. Kanina ko lang talaga nalaman. Imee Marcos.

Ang pangalan ni Imee Marcos is Governor Maria Imelda Josefa Marcos. Otherwise known as Imee. Pero ang tawag ko na sa iyo ngayon ma’am, the better actually kung Pilipino, Josefa. So beginning today, I would 
address you as Josefa. [inaudible]

Then we have the MMDA Chairman noon. He ran for… but he will be running again. Si Francis Tolentino, he’s a lawyer. [applause]

At mahal kong kababayan. Outside of the ASEAN countries, kasi I had to travel to visit every member state because we are hosting the ASEAN summit this year.

So I had to go out and got the feel of everybody, the heads of state or whatever. Dito sa programa na gusto nilang ipasok so that when the time comes [inaudible] meeting, wala na hong mga… smoothly na. At 
pinag-aralan na namin lahat kung anong… what comes up, what goes down dito sa aming ASEAN, very important ito po sa ating bayan.

But outside of ASEAN, I have received so may invitations. I would not name the countries because they might, you know—Tinanggihan ko lahat.

But ako ho ang namili dito. And I was very gratified that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King invited to visit you. [applause]

You know, let me explain why. Nakalimutan ko. Brod ko ‘to. Pareho kami. My lola is a Maranano. Kapwa ko Maranao ‘to. Si Dubs Mamao. [applause] Dubs wala ka sa listahan. Saksakin mo ‘yung—

He’s a, he’s my classmate sa San Beda and on top of that. He is my fraternity brother. [applause]

So marami dito ang Ilocano pati Maranao. Wala nga akong nakitang Bisaya. Ako lang. Ah, Martin Andanar. Anak siya ni Wency, Wenceslao ‘yung Andanar noon. Ito ‘yung anak. Mas gwapo ‘to.

Kasi ‘yung ibang puntahan ko na lugar, tinatanong ko, hindi ‘yung anak kong Baste na ‘yan. [laughter] Si Andanar kung nasaan. ‘Ka ko, wala dito, iniiwan ko kasi ang atensyon ng public mapunta sa kanila. Sabi ko, 
dito muna kayo makinig sa akin kasi maraming importanteng sasabihin sa inyo.

Well, I… it is of our national interest that I visit first the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nandito ‘yung karamihan ng ating, kayo mga kababayan. You are not just citizens of the Republic of the Philippines. You are the 
assets.

Ang ating gross national product is medyo malaki. Part of the economy of the country, part of the money that is driving the economics of our country are the remittances that you sent to the Philippines.

Importante talaga na makausap ko sa… [inaudible] [applause] And I am very happy that the warmest of all warm welcome, dito nakuha ko sa Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. [applause]

And in the days to come, they have promise to pass legistlations that would really improve your lives are better that what was before and I’m almost[applause]

I could only count Allah for bringing me here in this country.

Marami ho silang, marami kaming pinagusapan. It would take all evening to [say?] them all. But in the days to come malaman din ninyo.

So nauna ako dito. Not only because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a very important ally. We have to build bilateral relations in the fields of economy, trade and commerce, investments, and to think that we get 
our, most of our oil in this country. They are fueling our industries.

So ‘yung inuna ko talaga ‘yung pinaka-importante sa ating bayan. Filipino workers, their welfare, and the importance of really establishing alliances. We have agreed on so many things. It would be a shortlist if 
there is a publication of this thing but you will know when it is there.

Ngayon, pupunta na lang rin ako ng Qatar pati Bahrain because it’s nearby and there are also Filipinos.

Ngayong… bakit ako nanalo? You know, sa totoo lang, magkababayan man tayong lahat, huwag na tayong magbolahan. Hindi man ninyo ako kilala. [inaudible] taga-Davao, taga-Mindanao. But kayo hindi niyo ako 
kilala.

And I got almost 16 million, the six million was my sheer majority above Roxas. Hindi ko ma—I cannot even fathom. Hindi nako maka-[inaudible].

I cannot stretch deep enough to get why, when ako naman walang pera, hindi niyo kilala, ang partido namin PDP, and it was just a minority sa Pilipinas. Kokonti lang kami. And I carry the banner of PDP.

But what was the rationale or the reason behind bakit ako nanalo ng ganon karami. [applause] Alam mo kasi, I did not make any, so many promises. Wala akong… ako ‘nong presidential debates. If you have, 
nanuod kayo ‘non. I just had the bullet, sabi ko lang. Kasi sanay rin ako na, you know, I’ve been a trial prosecutor all these yours.

I knew that the one and a half minute given us, you cannot give us anything. So nung sinabing you are only given one minute and a half, nag ano na ako, na bullet lang, statement.

So ang una kong sinabi sa inyo, what was the reason, the rationale? It was in the messaging. Nanalo ako sa ‘yung nilabas kong pangako, which I consider very, very sacred. Nangako ako sa inyo na ito ang gawin 
ko. Why? Sabi ko sa inyo, I will stop corruption in government. [applause]

At kayong nakauwi na doon, at kayong, you have already, maybe stayed there a few days, even at the airport, I prohibited opening of baggages and inspection. [applause]

Kami nung mga mayor, kaming mga congressman, governor, we are waived through. Magsaludo pa. ‘Sir.’ Despite of the train of our luggages. Ang galit ako palagi, kaya ako talaga pinangako ko, kasi ‘yung makikita 
ko minsan kasunod ko OFW.

Tapos alin pa ‘yung kailangan nila, binubuksan ng bag, kung maraming perfume, kinukunan ng dalawa. So all thee years—but there was one time, a returning OFW from, I think from Macau. May dala-dala siyang 
[inaudible]kasi maliit lang ‘yung TV eh.

Pagdating doon sa Customs, binara. So ako, tumitingin lang ako. Nagmakaawa na ‘yung ale eh papuntahin pa siya doon sa kahero for assessment.

Hindi. Alam mo, anak lang rin ako ng mahirap. I never tasted the luxuries of life just like ‘yung iba. Probinsyano. Ito namang lahat dito, probinsyano actually. Bebot is from Isabela, Tugade is from Tuguegarao. 
Lahat ‘yan. Esperon is from Pangasinan; Roy Cimatu is Ilocos Norte. You know, mahirap lang. Kaya ako mainit ako diyan sa abuso sa gobyerno. ‘Yang mga military na ‘yan sasabihin nila.

When I was mayor, they were all assigned. At one time or another, dumaan ‘yan sila ng Region XI, including Davao. I really hate oppression lalo na ‘yung sa mga mahirap.

Hindi na ako mahirap ngayon, bobolahin ko lang rin kayo. Pero dumaan ako sa ganoong sitwasyon. Na dumating kami sa Davao na walang wala tapos we had to build a shanty just behind Ateneo de Davao 
University. Eh wet land ‘yan noon eh. And to think that we suffered a demolition, kuwan, eh you’d never believe that a wet land it could be titled in the name of private persons. It could be a government land or 
public land.

Kaya ako nandiyan pa, I was 4 years old. Maalala ko ‘yung demolition and I could remember my mother crying. Pati ‘yung kapatid kong babae. But hindi ko malaman, wondering why they were crying at ang tatay 
ko, sat there in the, one of the sari-sari store in front of the —‘yung bahay na itinayo and I just looked at it aimlessly. Wala naman siyang sinabi. Hindi ako nagbobola, totoo ‘to. You can ask anybody at saka 
magpunta kayo doon magbisi-bisita kayo sa bahay ko.

I mean, I could afford now. Maybe I could borrow money. But the problem is, sabi ko nga sa anak ko, pati mga kaibigan ko, biro-biro, sabi, matanda na ako 72 yrs old and I do not want to burden my family paying 
the rest of the amortization. Okay na ako dito sabi ko.

So ‘yung babae naala-ala ko. Sinabi ko talaga, ‘adre, palusutin mo na ‘yan.’ Sabi nung p***** i** niya, ‘Ba’t ka ba nakikialam?’ Sabi ko, ‘Magpakilala ako sa iyo, hindi kita binabastos. Mayor Duterte ako ng Davao. 
P**** i** mo, sipain kita dito ngayon.’ [applause]

‘Di ako nagyayabang. Of what use would it be to me? Magyabang ako sa inyo. Di na ako makatakbo. I know I will not remain popular all throughout if I could live until five years and a few months from now. 
InShAllah. So okay lang. Ganon kami kahirap, at ganon ang tingin ko sa mga kababayan natin. Hayaan mo na ‘yang mga mayaman. ‘Di nangailangan ng ano ‘yan, ng Presidente. They don’t even need a mayor. 
They can afford to have, hire their own mayor. Kaya ang tao muna.

So itong corruption, I have fired many, I even fired a Cabinet member. Nag meeting kami lahat. Tapos sabi nga ni Bebot kahapon, bakit mo naman sinikreto man lang sa amin. Eh nagalit ako kasi nagsinungaling. At 
early on, nung first meeting namin sa Cabinet, sinabi ko talaga, no corruption.[applause]

And if he was not into money making, diyan pa sa papel, diyan kami nagtalo at sabi niya, hindi daw niya alam. Eh samantala ang sumulat ng papel, ‘yung legal officer niya. Ano ba naman? Secretary ka, hindi mo 
alam kung anong sinusulat ng abogado mo? Kaya ako nag — sabi ko, “you’re lying, you’re fired. Get out of this room.”

Sabi ko, the first whiff of corruption, tatanggalin kita. Hindi na ako maghintay na makuha ko ‘yung pera. Baka masolo mo wala na kami pambili ng bahay. And I also fired another one. ‘Yun lang, patawag-tawag 
tapos parinig.

Nung narinig ko, tinawag ko lahat ng directors. Tell me the truth. Sabi ko[inaudible] p***** i** ninyo. [inaudible] Sabi ko, ito nagparinig, kung ano raw pinag-usapan ng aide niya, ‘yun na ‘yun. Anong klaseng 
salita ‘yan? “yun na ‘yun.” Eh anong ibig sabihin? Eh di ‘yun ang pinagusapan ng aide mo. Kaya tinawagan ko. Right on that meeting, director. Sinabi ko sa, ‘yung aide ko, si Bong. Sabi ko, tawagan mo. Tell him to 
tender his resignation within two days. So ang nilagay ko si, military nung kaka-retire lang Chief of Staff. Si Visaya. And I will be firing more, ito na yung mga directors levels, talagang tatanggalin ko lahat. Sinabi 
ko, no corruption. [applause]

Habang wala kayong narinig na tumatanggap ako, huwag kayong tumangap kasi hala, patay. I would not hesitate to really humiliate you.

Pero ako, nabigla talaga ako. And the other one I fired was with me when I first ran as mayor in 1988l. I’ve been mayor for 23 years sa Davao. I have never lost an election, actually. I was once upon a time a 
congressman also. Tuloy-tuloy na ako from vice mayor to the presidency kaya ganon na lang ang utang na loob ko. Kaya siguro naman istrikto talaga ako sa Davao kaya ‘yun nga. Baka ‘yun ang nagustuhan ng 
tao. [inaudible] re-elected and re-elected and re-elected. [applause]

Ngayon, I would not have filed my certificate of candidacy. Sinabi ko sa anak ko na babae, ‘pag hindi ka tatakbo ng mayor, hindi ako tatakbo ng presidente.’ Siya ‘yang una na nagsabi, ‘ano bang Gawain mo 
diyan?’ Sabi niya, matanda ka na, you retire. Pero I really do not know. Maybe it’s because of destiny.

Napatakbo talaga ako, pumayag rin siyang tumakbo ulit. Si Inday. So ‘yung kapalit ko doon, ‘yung mayor, ‘yung anak ko. Iyon ‘yung nanununtok ng sheriff. Nambubugbog talaga ng mga tao eh. Maldita ‘yan. Sabi 
ko, sa kanya ko iniwan kasi siya lang ‘yung, nakuha niya ‘yung arte ko, ‘yung style pati mga galaw. Lahat. Sabi ko, eh siya lang ang ano talaga, pinaka… In the family when she talks, ako tatay, ayaw ko 
makipag-away ng anak kaya tahimik na lang ako. Pero ‘yung maliit pa ‘yan, siya talaga. Pagdating sa bahay ko, diretso sa kwarto niya. Hindi dadaan ng sala ‘yan. Doon sa kwarto. Doon siya mamili bago niya 
itapon ‘yung sobra niya. Ganoon katindi ‘yang babaeng ‘yan. She’s doing good and huwag ninyo magkamali kayo, patakbuhin ninyong presidente ‘yun, bubugbugin kayong lahat niyan. Oo, hanggang mayor lang 
siya, huwag na ninyong —

Anyway, ‘yun mga, the tenets of life. Maybe. Nasabi ko lang para maintindihan ninyo ako kaagad. Ma-impart ko na, ma-transmit ko na sa inyo ‘yung mindset ko, the paradigm.

Ako serbisyo lang talaga. I’ve said the long… The beginning and the end of my term as President would always be public interest. Nothing higher, nothing lower. Diyan ako nakatutok.

So I expect everybody to work and if you are in government, work hard. And if you have been used to extra income, kagaya ng… Hindi naman lahat. Customs pati BIR, do not. Do not.

Noon ‘yung sweldo ninyo, ano lang ‘yan, tip lang ‘yan. [inaudible] Huwag na huwag kasi ano lang kayo, diyan sa BIR, isang Ilocano rin. Ewan ko bakit puro Ilocano, hindi ko man sinadya ‘yan. [applause] Atty. 
Dulay.

You know, when we were studying law, magkaiba-iba kami ng eskwelahan. Si Dulay, ang BIR ngayon, taga-Baguio, pati si Bebot Bello, mga probinsyano ‘yung opisyal. Akala nila mga taga-Maynila? Puro Ilocano. 
Isabela, si Dulay, Baguio.

Sa harap naman, ako pati si Yasay. So Yasay studied UP sa padre Faura, sila sa Ateneo, ako San Beda. But we mixed each other very well. Hanggang lumaki na kami, kilala ko na ‘yung characters nila. Kaya ‘yung 
pinili ko talaga, garantisado ako. Ngayon, walang hao-siao ‘yang mga tao. Kasi puro na mayayaman. Totoo. Si Bebot islanded estate ito o. Ako lang ang mahirap diyan sa — kaya I never signed anything. Andyan 
man in front of the public eh. Hindi ako nakapirma na mangolekta ako ng allowance extra except my salary, 130,000. Tapos dalawa ang pamilya ko. Eh papano ko —[applause]

‘Yung isa talaga, ‘yung nanay ni Inday, she is a half-German, half-Filipino Si Zimmerman, naghiwalay kami noon. Si Elizabeth. Tapos, ‘yun annulled talaga. It was an annulled marriage. Hindi ko kaya ang German. 
[laughter and applause] Dito lang ako sa taga-Bulacan, taga-Valenzuela, medyo mabuhay ako dito. ‘yung isa papatayin talaga ako o.

Anyway, ‘yun. So lahat tayo nawalaan ng income. You take so much money before to buy car for all the children, maybe buy a house, but hindi na pwede ‘yan ngayon kasi nagbabantay talaga. And the reason 
why I fired the other guy, even the whiff, not exactly na magkapera ka. Tinitignan ko ‘yung budget, it’s almost 150 billion ‘yung sa Irrigation.

Kasi sa Irrigation, wala nang bayad ngayon, libre na ang mga farmers sa water. [applause] ‘Yan ang pinangako ko sa kanila. No more irrigation fees. Libre na ang tubig. Sabi nung mga taga-NIA na, ‘sir minsan pa 
naman malayo ‘yung tubig minsan wala.’

Eh di kung maghanap ka ng tubig, wala, mag-ihi ka diyan. Sabay-sabay kayong lahat. Basta problema ninyo ‘yan, hindi na problema ng taong bayan ‘yan.

Maghanap kayo kasi yan ang binabayaran kayo to produce water not to regulate the prices of water parang pa NAWASA lang yan.

So kung yun ang mawalan kayo ng income bare with me it’s only be about six years very easy to traverse but you have to slow down a little bit sa income ninyo.

Yung nga siguro you can eat everynight outside now they medyo magluto na kayo ng ano ninyo kasi pero hirap itong ating dadaanan.

I am a almost a transitional president and tend to stop corruption I will succeed. Kasi talagang labanan kami ditto, I will not compromise, I will not compromise . Do not come to me.

Makiusap ka sa akin nenegoso I do not entertain businessmen into my office, my dyan sa Pasig. Hindi rin ako ayaw ko tawagin yang Malacanang, Palace.

Hindi naman palasyo yan at tsaka dyan talagang tanungin mo si Imee, Maam maaga ang multo dyan me araw

Kaya ako natutulog doon sa barracks doo sa PSG doon dito tayo kasi ditto medyo clear ang ano ditto ang Malacanang. And I do not even say it in public I say it my office ditto kasi para lang malaman ninyo but I 
usually address that ako as workers of government.Period.

And ah I do not allow yung mga plate number for Cabinet members. Six ang cabinet eh yung congressman pati senador bahala sila so yung isa sinabi ko I fired him also.

… I notice in several meetings in Mindanao pag nagdating maraming bodyguard eh kami kami lang noon wala namang interesadong pumatay sa amin why you suddenly strut around kasi when I was Mayor I never 
really allowed wang wang sa Davao si Inday ayaw nya rin yan mayabang ang dating eh, hambugero ba.

Nakokornihan ako tumatayo ang balahibo ko na that’s why I do not travel around in Manila because whether I like it or not PSG would come to clear kasi kung matabihan ka sabi nila baka car bomb pag panahon 
mo na panahon mo na talaga.

But whether you like it or not you loose your freedom pag Presidente ka wala na talaga pag magsabi ka gusto ko magpunta nyan biglaan you have to inform them several hours to be able to do the cleaning if 
there is to be clean.

Wala na akong freedom I … even at night. Kaya pag tumama yan sa isang building dyan sa Makati yun nay un. You call Robredo and you have a new President.

… so I do not I seldom mga abogado but only those with important events meaningful to the life otherwise yung mga ayaw ko tsaka yung lang magastos kapag umuuwi ako so I my comfort zone is Davao. If I 
want to regain my … because you tend to loose your stress I’ll go home just makita ko lang yun kama ko makita ko maamoy ko lang yung kumot ko na once a year lang nilalabhan totoo yun mga nakakakilala sa 
akin alam nila yan. May sikreto ako dyan but yung peanuts yung comic strip na peanuts limos pati si ano totoo yan.

Totoo yan security blanket I do know if I have this inferiority of pero yang so I go home that’s about the only expense that I really … Sometimes I take it usually the commercial flights.

So sa balik ako sa corruption it has to stop and everybody is listening because live man ito [applause]

Time and again wala na rinako I’m 72 years old kung sana noon pa para ma enjoy ko but even if you give me one tanker of money what will I do with it? Di na ako makakain din a ako makainom.

Then I use the because of Buerger’s disease kaya sabi ko nga kaya sa Davao walang sigarilyo nung sinabi ng doctor na wag ka manigarilyo kasi mapuputol yung paa mo pati yung kamay mo liliit pati yung ano liliit 
talaga [laughter]

Alam yan ng mga nurse pati doctor … kasi baba eh yung circulation ang buerger’s disease is a malfunction of the brain so yung oxygenation ko dahil kakasigarilyo ko nagkaroon ako ng acquired buerger’s disease … 
malfunction ditto sa brain but you know ang contributory yan is smoking.

So I have to use the oxygenation kasi yung sensor ko yun nanigarilyo ka yung sensor nyo nada damage. Ang breathing kapag tulog ka tong gising ka because your conscious of oxygenation sa katawan pero yung 
sa matulog ka ganon na lang yan parang himatayin so lagyan ka ng oxygen kaya baga na makapal na ditto ko sa kakatusok yan gabi-gabi.

Dito tayo sa droga dito wala rin akong I’m sorry wala rin akong pasensya talaga. Di ba sabi nila marami namatay in Davao City for 23 years six to 700 meron hindi ko kayo bobolahin eh lumaban eh sinabi ko noon 
sa pulis go after them arrest them if it’s real possible but a confronted with a violent resistance and you think that your life is in danger shoot [applause]

Kaya heto yan eh it has afflicted or contaminated 4 million of the Filipinos that is four million is no joke and some of them earn and use of shabu treats the brain so out of the four million noong panahon ni 
Santiago yun akin 1/8 plus hindi ko malaman kung sino talaga yung wala ng utak o ilan pang matirang matino. And this are the people to be burden to the community and poses a danger to the society.

Pag lango na they do not know they cannot discern what is right and what is wrong ang mahirap nyan ang mga abogado you know kung sabihin ng abogado nya naka high yan eh sira yung utak eh so ang sa atin 
kasi you must be conscious of what you are doing so kung pinatay yan ni rape yan ang uso ngayon eh.

stranded. Siguro po maganda na mas, kami pong mga citizen ay mag-promote ng partnership sa ating gobyerno. Maganda pong nagsasabi tayo ng ating mga issues and concerns sa ating Presidente. Pero sana 
tinatanong din po natin kung ano din po ‘yung ginawa po natin para makasuporta sa kapwa Pilipino.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE: Ma’am let me announce it. Ay hindi pala sinabi ko sa inyo, pero bebot has something to say to you. Ito maganda ito and I’m ready to do it.

SEC. BELLO: Mga minamahal kong mga OFW, gusto ko malaman ninyo na pagkatapos ng announcement ng Crown Prince granting amnesty sa mga OFWs natin, ay nagpadala kami ng augmentation team para 
tulungan sila. Para maka-comply doon sa mga requirements nung amnesty program ng Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At marami na po ang nakapag-avail. Katunayan nga po we are arranging a transportation for 250 
OFWs, who hopefully will be back to our country in time for the return of President Rodrigo Duterte.[applause]

Nais din naming hong malaman ninyo na yoong mga unpaid claims ng mga OFWs natin ay under process. And one of the efforts of our augmentation team is to determine the validity of their claims. And if the 
validity is established, then OWWA is willing to advance the money claims of all the OFWs in Saudi Arabia. Yun po an gaming ginagawa para sa inyo po. Maraming salamat po. [applause]

PRESIDENT DUTERTE: Mabuti ho at nagtanong kayo para malaman ninyo. By the time magland ako pauwi, kasama ko na ang mga undocumented pati ‘yung mga illegal – [applause] They will all be ferried home.

usually addressed as[inaudible]. Ang tanong ko lang po, Mr. President, wala po ba kaming karapatan, the OFW, to represent public office in the government like to serve the Filipino overseas [inaudible] 
ambassadorship of, for the first time in Saudi Arabia?

PRESIDENT DUTERTE: He is a congressman of the OFW.

Q: Yeah, idagdag ko lang sir. The Duterte Middle East Movement just now and Madam [Sinplasa?] is our witness, we are part of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Saudi Government 
and the Philippine government for those investors, kasama po kami. That they may aim para doon sa 46 [million?] dollars na pinirmahan natin ngayon sa Chamber of Commerce —

PRESIDENT DUTERTE: — and I will promise you that your dream will be realized. I am good until 3 o’clock in the morning.

Q: Good evening, Mr. President at sa inyong mga kasama. Ako po ay si Dr. Jill [Fradj Paspe?] Isa akong dentista na nagtatrabaho dito sa Saudi Arabia. Nagpapasalamat ako dahil sa isang Executive Order galing 
kay President Arroyo noon na nagsasaad na ang lahat ng mga Pilipino dito magkaroon ng special professional license examination. ‘Yung mga hindi pumasa na pumunta dito ‘yung mga engineers, nurses, mga 
dentist na nagwowork as dental assistant na mabigyan sila ng exam dito ng PRC. The problem sir, ganito. Ang problema ng mga dentist, hinaing ito ng mga dentist. The first two years, pinagbigyan kami. This 
year, hindi kami pinagbigyan. Nagtataka kami. Sumulat kami, we have around 30 ready dentists to take the examination, the licensure. Ni-refuse kami ng PRC dahil raw ang aming dental board of examinees, busy 
daw sila. Is it pwede na busy sila, eh may mga overseas Filipino dito na gusto magkuha ng exam. Ni-refuse kami.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE: Bebot will… si Bello.

SEC. BELLO: Ma’am, good evening po. Iyon pong hiling ninyo na mag conduct dito ng examination ang PRC gagawin na po ‘yan. Ni refuse kayo ng dating ano leadership.

Q: Lahat po ng PRC?

SEC. BELLO: Lahat ng PRC po gagawan na ng paraan. Gagawin para sa inyo. Hindi gagawa isasama natin ang dentistry.

laborers. Iyong rate po.
