Archbishop de la Cruz played a vital role in the expansion and intensification of the Catholic faith among its followers, especially in Cotabato, Isabela, and Kidapawan, where he was destined throughout his calling to give spiritual guidance to the faithfuls.

His death is truly a big loss to the Catholic community and all the people who have had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the Catholic laity and clergy. We pray for the eternal repose of his soul.
