Quezon governor grateful for PBBM’s agrarian reform program

Governor Helen Tan expressed her gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as she recognized the impact of the government’s program for farmers in Quezon.

President Marcos on Friday granted e-titles and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to the province’s farmers.

Quezon farmers could now till lands of their own as a result of the President’s agrarian reform policy.

Around 15 agrarian reform beneficiaries received e-titles covering 30.8064 hectares of farmland. On the other hand, 11,497 Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) were given to over 9,000 ARBs.

Through Republic Act No. 11953, or the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, a total of PhP441.71 million in farmers’ debts were condoned in Quezon. The condonation covers amortization, interests, and surcharges.

Since July 2022, more than 600 Quezon ARBs have received e-titles. | PND
