Local Government Unit (LGU) officials and farmer-beneficiaries across Mindanao on Friday expressed their deep gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for his steadfast and unwavering support to the region’s agricultural sector.
During the regional launch of the Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program (APPP) in Mindanao, Sarangani Gov. Rogelio Pacquiao extended his heartfelt thanks to President Marcos for prioritizing the welfare of farmers in Region XII.
Gov. Pacquiao said the APPP reflects not just policy but true compassion and respect for Filipino farmers.
“The region-wide launching of the Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program for our 2,000 beneficiaries in Region XII serves as a testament to his commitment, dedication, and compassion for our constituents. Through APPP, we are planting not just seeds in the ground but hope in our communities,” he added.
“This program is for all the farmers with us today and for all the others they represent,” Gov. Pacquiao said.
“Ito ay tulong na may kasamang paggalang sa ating mga kababayan at sa kinabukasan ng ating bansang Pilipinas,” he added.

Among the farmer-beneficiaries was Rodin D. Ambrosio, a 68-year-old farmer from Barangay Dagupan, Makilala, Cotabato, who shared how the APPP and mechanization support will make a tangible difference in their lives.

“Sa ating mahal na Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, maraming salamat po. Sana po ito ay simula pa lamang at magtuloy-tuloy ang tulong ng gobyerno sa aming mga magsasaka,” the farmer added.
