We confirm that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed Executive Order No. 166 on March 21, 2022, adopting the Ten-Point Policy Agenda to accelerate and sustain economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and a whole-of-government approach to align all economic recovery programs and measures of the National Government.
We do not share the view that this is the current Administration’s exit plan for this forms part of the country’s preparation to build resilience under the New Normal, which we are certain would be carried on by the succeeding administrations, in the same way that Executive Order No. 168, creating the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases in the Philippines, signed by former President Benigno Aquino III in 2014, has been adopted by the present Administration.
Unless Executive Order No.166 is modified or revoked, it would remain effective and operational.
