The re-apportionment of Agusan del Norte means that for the 2025 national and local elections, the two (2) legislative districts will be reorganized as the Lone Legislative District of the City of Butuan and the Legislative District of the Province of Agusan del Norte.

As present, the First District is composed of the City of Butuan and the Municipality of Las Nieves, while the City Cabadbaran and the rest of the municipalities comprise the Second District.
