Malacañang confirms the appointment of Atty. Melvin Alvarez Matibag as Acting Cabinet Secretary.

Atty. Matibag has proven his managerial capabilities and qualifications throughout the positions he has held in various institutions, including the National Transmission Corporation, PDP-Laban, Manila International Airport Authority, Laguna Lake Development Authority, among others.

His experiences and competence will be vital to the remaining three months of the Duterte administration, such as in ensuring that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s policies and programs are efficiently managed.

We wish Acting Cabinet Secretary Matibag all the best as he assists the President, along with the members of the Cabinet, on issues and concerns that requires the Chief Executive’s decision and action.
