President Ferdinand R. Marcos has been in constant communication with different government agencies on the status of severe tropical storm “Paeng” to make sure that there is sufficient resource augmentation to support local government units in all affected areas.

The President will preside a full council meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) at 2 pm today.

The President has instructed national government agencies to assist the BARMM in its relief and rescue operations on the recent flooding in Maguindanao that claimed the lives of at least 67 people. The President wants to assure them of the full support of the government.

Everyone is advised to stay alert and take all precautionary measures to stay safe.
