Edilberto Evangelista Station Hospital in Cagayan de Oro City on June 3, 2017 where the soldiers were confined. Joining the President were Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Health Secretary Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eduardo Año, Philippine Army Commander Lt. Gen. Glorioso Miranda, and Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence Go. During his visit, he took time to check the condition of those injured troopers who joined the anti-terror operations in Marawi City. The President awarded them with wounded personnel medals, cash assistance, and brand new pistols. The President was assisted by Health Secretary Ubial in awarding P1-million check to officials of the Camp BGen. Edilberto Evangelista Station Hospital.
