President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visits the Brigadier General Benito Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. He went there on June 4, 2017 to honor the soldiers and policemen who took part in the successful operations against the Abu Sayyaf Group in Bohol.

The President was accompanied by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Presidential Adviser on Military Affairs Arthur Tabaquero, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eduard Año, Philippine Army Chief Lt. Gen. Glorioso Miranda, Central Command Commander Lt. Gen. Oscar Lactao, 2nd Air Division Commander MGen. Jose Mirandilla Jr., and Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 Director Chief Supt. Noli Taliño, among others.

The President, in his speech, shared words of encouragement to the soldiers and policemen who took part in the successful operations that thwarted the terror attack in Bohol. He was also shown the different firearms, ammunitions, and explosives recovered from the attackers.
