PRESIDENT FERDINAND R. MARCOS JR.: Hello, good morning. Well, you’ve all been… [Pinawisan ako.] You’ve all seen the LAB for ALL. This is the first chance I got to join the First Lady. So I took the chance and I’m so happy that I did kasi ang ganda talaga ng programa na ito.

I think all of you who have been — who have been following it know this is one of the responses to the lessons learned during the pandemic that we need better healthcare.

Q: Sir, any directives sir on regard to the eruption of Taal Volcano?

PRESIDENT MARCOS: Well, we… Okay, let me do this here. We have SOPs in place. We have standard procedures. Everybody when the volcano erupts or the storm comes or magkalindol or whatever, they know what to do.

What we have to do is to monitor the situation and continue to see where are the areas — kasi not every situation is the same. So how do we adjust? Where are the areas that need special attention, where are the areas that are okay. So, ‘yun ang ginagawa namin ngayon.

But again, that’s part of the SOP. You know, the people that we have there know what to do, that’s why I put them there. So, you know we just monitor the situation and as soon as possible basta makapasok… Well — basta makapasok…

Right now, PHIVOLCS is saying huwag muna nating alalahanin masyado. But I’m sure they will play it safe pagka kailangan, we will have to move people out of the danger area like we always do. So, that’s what we are monitoring now. Yeah.

Q: Thank you, sir.

PRESIDENT MARCOS: All right. Salamat.
