The Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) warns the public and government agencies of unscrupulous groups or individuals posing as Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin M. Andanar, soliciting money from individuals, companies and government offices for various purposes.

Recently, the mobile number ‎0995-2784620 has been used for this unlawful purpose.

The public is advised that under Republic Act No. 6713, otherwise known as the “Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees,” and Republic Act No. 3019, otherwise known as the “Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act,” government officials and employees are strictly prohibited from soliciting money for any purpose whatsoever.

We encourage everyone to report any form of unverified communications received and verify the authenticity of messages with the PCOO through the Office of the Undersecretary for Legal Affairs at ‎733-3624.
