“Bagong Pilipinas” kick-off rally all set on Sunday; “Serbisyo Fair” up for grabs


The “Bagong Pilipinas” kick-off rally is all set on Sunday afternoon, January 28 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila where some of the government’s major services will be provided while thousands of Filipinos are expected to attend.

In its official Facebook page, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said a “Serbisyo Fair” will be held at the kick-off rally, providing payouts for pre-identified beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will provide eCard enrollment, verification of record, loan application and housing programs while the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) will provide registration and enrollment services along with its information dissemination and other benefits.

Civil registration services will also be provided by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) along with the Philippine Identification System Registration and the ePhilID Issuance, and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will provide issuance of clearance, free of charge for first time job seekers.

The Pag-Ibig Fund will also join with the caravan, providing membership registration services, multi-purpose loan application, claims application, housing loan program, modified Pag-Ibig 2 (MP2) special savings program, HEAL Program, and inquiries on other benefits and programs.

Assistance on online transactions will be extended by the Social Security System (SSS) along with the claims inquiry and claims and record verification while the Philippine National Police (PNP) will provide services such as the issuance of the License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF).

Issuance of police clearance (free for first time job seekers) will also be provided by the PNP including drug test, neuropsychiatric test, notary and gun safety seminar, and help and recruitment desks.

The Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) will provide walk-in services such as various exam application, petition for change of status/correction, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Professional Development Accreditation System (CPDA), and other online transaction assistance.

The PRC will also provide services that need appointment such as the PRC ID renewal, PRC ID and Board of Certificate, Passing and Board Rating Authenticity, and Certificate of Good Standing and Board Rating Issuance.
