President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday asked for the support of local government units (LGUs) in the successful implementation of the administration’s “Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics” program for the benefit of their constituents.
In his speech during the turnover ceremony of the “Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics” in Port Area, Manila, President Marcos said the program would render useless if its inaccessible to the people.
President Marcos said the LGUs will serve as the bridge that will connect the Filipino people and the national government for the success of the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics.
The Chief Executive stood firm that the government brings more than just medical services in each mobile clinic. It will also provide dignity, trust, and hope to the Filipino people, especially those in the far-flung areas of the country.
Among the 28 LGUs that received the mobile clinics are Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Davao de Oro, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, Davao Oriental.
