Palace declares Aug. 14 a special non-working holiday in Mawab, Davao de Oro



President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared Aug. 14 this year as a special non-working holiday in Mawab, Davao de Oro, in light of the town’s founding anniversary celebration.

President Marcos made the declaration through Proclamation No. 628.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Mawab be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” the President said.

The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin by the authority of the President on July 11, 2024. |PND
