PBBM elated by Cabinet’s accomplishments

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed elation Tuesday on the accomplishments of different departments in the past few months, as he presided over the 13th Cabinet meeting in Malacañang.

“I think we have managed that and I’m very happy that we were able to do it,” President Marcos said in a toast during a luncheon he hosted for Cabinet members.

“I am told I am to make a toast. I will toast you all for the good work that you have done, the good [start] that you have done, as I said earlier I think you have done some significant things,” the President said.

But there are things that still need to be done, Marcos said, asking the members of his Cabinet to take full advantage of the Christmas holidays, get some rest and prepare again to do battle in public service.

“So with that, I suppose all that is left is to toast you and toast to all a Merry, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” the President said.

Discussed during the Cabinet meeting were this year’s accomplishments and key priorities and plans for 2023. #
