President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended his warmest greetings to the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) on its 109th Founding Anniversary today as he wished the religious organization to have more strength in pursuing their mission not only for their flock but also for the entire nation.

“Kaisa ng sambayanang Pilipino, binabati ko ang bawat Kapatid ng Iglesia Ni Cristo sa pagdiriwang ng inyong ika-109 na Anibersaryo ng Pagkakatatag,” President Marcos said in his message to the INC.

“Nawa’y sa selebrasyong ito, higit pang tumibay ang inyong pagkakaisa sa pananalangin at pagkilos tungo sa katuparan ng inyong mga layunin at mithiin para sa inyong simbahan at sa buong sambayanan,” the President added.

President Marcos hopes the INC will continue to flourish and be a strong religious institution in the coming years as he emphasized that it has continuously served as the guiding light of its flock towards becoming a strongly united group.

The chief executive also emphasized that he is glad that the INC, the ministers, and its members are religiously sharing their faith and teachings not only through evangelization but also through their acts of charity.

“Gawin ninyong bukal ng lakas at inspirasyon ang mga aral na iniwan ni Hesus. Ipagdasal po ninyo ang ating bansa at kapwa mga Pilipino na patuloy na pagpalain ng Panginoon at bigyan ng sapat na lakas upang harapin ang mga hamon ng bukas,” the chief executive said.

President Marcos also hopes that the INC, under the leadership of its Executive Minister, Ka Eduardo Manalo, will continue to be the government’s partner in pushing for a progressive, peaceful, and united Philippines. *[PND]*
