PBBM leads groundbreaking ceremony for Sky Garden project in Pangasinan

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday said that tourists will soon have another reason to visit the province of Pangasinan, as he led the groundbreaking ceremony for Alaminos City’s Sky Garden Project, envisioned as an elevated park and viewing deck.

The Sky Garden will offer panoramic views of the iconic Hundred Islands National Park and its surrounding natural landscapes.

President Marcos praised Pangasinan’s people and public officials for taking the initiative to construct the Sky Garden, which is expected to boost tourism and the local economy further.

He noted that Pangasinan has always been one of the country’s most popular summer destinations, especially because of the famed Hundred Islands National Park.

The Sky Garden Project symbolizes pride, progress, collaboration, and an inclusive public space for all Filipinos.

President Marcos emphasized that the Sky Garden is a joint initiative of the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), and the city government of Alaminos.

Kaming mga Gen Z, pwedeng mag-vlog at mag-‘My Day’ dito,” the President said, adding that senior citizens will also be able to enjoy the elevated gardens.

With PhP249.8 million in funding from TIEZA, the Sky Garden Project is expected to be completed by March 15, 2026.

| PND
