PBBM on ex-PDEA agent: He is a professional liar, like a jukebox who will play any song for a fee

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. brushed off Friday the allegations made against him by former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agent Jonathan Morales as he likened him to a jukebox who will play any song for a fee.

According to the President, he will not give importance to the lies of a person without credibility.

The Chief Executive made the remarks when ambushed by the media during the distribution of government assistance he led for El Niño victims in General Santos City.

He said there’s no point in paying attention to somebody that can be likened to a jukebox that would play any song for a fee.

“Mahirap naman bigyan ng importansya ‘yan. This fellow is a professional liar. Parang jukebox. Basta maghulog ka ng pera kahit anong kantang gusto mo, kakantahin niya. Kaya walang saysay,” President Marcos explained.

He also questioned the record of Morales who, according to resource persons in a Senate hearing, had many court cases, false testimonies and complaints for implicating innocent individuals.

Senators denounced Morales’ testimony for failing to prove allegations of illegal drugs against President Marcos and actress Maricel Soriano. The Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs has been conducting hearings on the issue.

A number of legislators also slammed Morales for his lies. They said Morales’ testimony is polluted after it was established that President Marcos wasn’t involved in illegal drugs. PND
