PBBM rallies key agencies to back faster distribution of lands to Zambo farmers

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. rallied key government agencies on Friday to speed up land distribution in Zamboanga Peninsula to uplift people’s lives and boost agricultural productivity.

The President hoped that through the Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) distribution and release of assistance to beneficiaries, farmers in the region will be inspired to help ensure food security in the country and encourage their children to venture into farming.

The President told the gathering that he is visiting different parts of the country to personally see the handover of assistance to farmers and fisherfolk and assess people’s condition at the local level.

President Marcos distributed more than 4,900 land titles and assistance to farmers from Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay.

The President also turned over more than Php15 million worth of farming tools and equipment benefiting 15,773 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) to increase their productivity. | PND
