PBBM receives painting from artist Alvin Hipolito

President Ferdinand R. Marcos on Friday expressed gratitude after receiving a portrait of him made by renowned artist Alvin Hipolito.

Marcos received the portrait during Hipolito’s courtesy call at the Malacañan Palace.

Alvin Hipolito is the son of the late visual artist Dante Hipolito, who was known for his painting “Salubong,” which portrays Pope Francis with some Filipino celebrities in a rural setting.

Among those featured in the painting were actress Vilma Santos, singer Gary Valenciano, and movie stars Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Coco Martin, and Kris Aquino. | PND
