President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday urged farmers and fisherfolk to continue seeking assistance, stressing that providing such support is the government’s responsibility.
Kung kailangang gawin, kailangan gawin, gagawin namin,“ President Marcos said in his remarks during the inauguration of the upgraded Philippine Fisheries Development Authority-Iloilo Fish Port Complex (PFDA-IFPC) in Barangay Baybay Tanza, Iloilo City.
The President said the government will continue to develop the agricultural sector, as he thanked the farmers and fisherfolk for their work.
“Kayo ang nagpapakain sa lahat ng Pilipino,” the Chief Executive said.
The event emphasized the administration’s dedication to improving the country’s agricultural industry. President Marcos spoke with beneficiaries of various machinery and equipment donated to farmers and fisherfolk cooperatives to boost productivity..
The President acknowledged the sacrifices of farmers and fisherfolk.
