PCOO, MMDA hold COVID-19 booster program for employees


MANILA — 250 officials and employees of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) received their COVID-19 booster shots on January 28, 2022 through a vaccination program in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, the PCOO has remained relentless in its efforts to protect its officials and employees from the virus.

“Ensuring that our staff and personnel’s safety and welfare are prioritized equates to unhampered government operations and public service to the Filipino people. Which is why we endeavored to secure that each and everyone of us in the PCOO are fully vaccinated.”

In June-July 2021, the PCOO and the MMDA conducted its mass vaccination of PCOO officials and employees. As of December 2021, 100% of PCOO’s  manpower is fully vaccinated.

Secretary Martin Andanar, expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the PCOO to MMDA Chairman Benjamin C. Abalos Jr. and the vaccination team, for their continued assistance and support to ensure the well being of the employees and strengthen herd immunity within the agency.

The PCOO will hold another Booster Shot Program on February 18, 2022 in partnership with the city government of Manila to further protect the employees and their dependents from more contagious variants.
