President Duterte meets with Citra Group officials



President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Thursday, September 28, met with officials of the Citra Group at the Malago Club House in Malacañang Park.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive discussed with the said officials the construction of the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3.

The President also discussed their shared mandate to prioritize the restoration of the Pasig River to its historical pristine condition.

Citra Group officials in attendance were Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corp. resident manager Philippe Gouvary; Citra Metro Manila Tollways deputy commercial manager Samuel Bayot; and San Miguel Holdings Corp. technical head, Engr. Norberto Conti.

Also present in the meeting were Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go; Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) executive director Abraham Sales; Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission executive director Jose Antonio Goitia;

Department of Public Works and Highways’ Public Private Partnership Service (PPPS) director Alex Bote; TRB Engr. Efren Rabot; PPPS project development officer Sonny Macasil; and OSAP Assistant Secretary Erwin Enad.

Citra is the project proponent of the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 project, an elevated expressway that would stretch from Buendia, Makati City to Balintawak, Quezon City with a distance of about 14.82 kilometers.

The project also includes improvement works in selected at–grade sections.

The Skyway Stage 3 will have a total of 14 toll plazas and will connect the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

It is hoped to be completed by January 2019. ### PND
