QUEZON CITY — President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Thursday, January 10, visited the wake of former SSS Commissioner Arthur L. Amansec at the St. Peter Chapel.

During his visit, President Duterte personally expressed his condolences to the widow and children of Amansec.

Meanwhile, the family of the late commissioner expressed their appreciation to the President and lauded him for his efforts to eradicate corruption in the country.

According to Amansec’s family, the late commissioner died at the age of 72 due to cardiac arrest secondary to sepsis.

President Duterte condoles with the kin of Qatar Labor Attachē Henry Parel

After visiting the funeral of former SSS Commissioner Arthur Amansec, President Duterte proceeded to the next chapel to visit the wake of Qatar Labor Attaché Henry M. Parel.

The President expressed his deepest condolences to Parel’s family and talked to some of the guests who were present at the venue.

Parel passed away on Thursday, January 03, at the age of 70 due to coronary heart disease. ### PND
