President Marcos receives outgoing Israeli envoy in farewell call



President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday received outgoing Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss in a farewell call in Malacañan Palace.

Fluss shared that during his tour of duty, he had been able to strengthen cooperation between the Philippines and Israel in several key areas, such as agriculture, education, and trade.

Fluss assumed the post of Israel’s ambassador to the Philippines in October 2021.

This year, the Philippines and Israel will mark 68 years of formal diplomatic relations since it was established on August 9, 1957. | PND
