The national government, through our frontline disaster response agencies, remains on standby to respond and assist victims of Tropical Depression Maring in Regions I, II III, IV-A, V and NCR.
As of September 13, 8am, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DWSD) reported that 2,103 families were affected. Of which, 1,857 families are staying at 116 evacuation centers. The DSWD has a total of 196,896 Family Food Packs (FFPs) on stock and P577.7 million standby funds at the DSWD Central Office, concerned Field Offices and National Resource Operations Center (NROC).
The Department of Health (DOH) also prepositioned about P20 million of logistics in Regions II, III, IV-A and V and has an about P50 million of logistics present at the DOH Central Office.
