In the spirit of Christmas, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), together with the ride-hailing companies Angkas and Joyride Philippines gave away grocery packs to motorcycle riders at two locations in Quezon City.

“We will apprehend riders who are violating traffic rules and regulations but we will also give them grocery packages for the Christmas season,” said Chair Artes.

1 Rider Partylist Representatives Bonifacio Bosita and Rodge Gutierrez were also present at the gift-giving activity and showed support for the agency’s project in ensuring the safety of motorcycle riders especially this holiday season.

For his part, Bosita said, “we are in support of MMDA’s strict implementation of the traffic rules and regulations.”

Meanwhile, MMDA expects the increase of number of passengers going in and out of Metro Manila would be on December 22 onwards.
