Pinagtibay ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pangako ng kanyang administrasyon na pagbubutihin ang sistema ng transportasyon sa bansa at mas palalakasin pa ang proyektong "Build, Better, More" na ipinagpatuloy niya galing sa nakaraang administrasyon. Inihayag ito ng Pangulo sa kanyang pagdalo sa paglulunsad ng Metro Manila Subway Project Tunnel Boring Machine ngayong araw, ika-9 ng Enero sa Valenzuela City. Pinasalamatan din ni PBBM ang pamahalaan ng Japan at Japan International Cooperation Agency sa walang patid na pagtulong para maisakatuparan ang mga programang imprastruktura sa bansa. Sa paglulunsad ng tunnel boring machine, sisimulan na ang paggawa ng mga tunnel para sa kauna-unahang subway system sa bansa na inaasahang magseserbisyo sa 519,000 na pasahero araw-araw. Paiikliin din nito sa 35 na minuto ang biyahe mula Quezon City hanggang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
