PBBM expresses gratitude to UAE for disaster aid and pardon of 143 Filipinos in conversation with President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. spoke with United Arab Emirates President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan today, October 14, 2024. During the conversation, President Marcos expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the UAE's invaluable support, particularly the aid provided during recent disasters and the generous pardon of 143 Filipinos, which has brought relief to many families.
The two leaders reaffirmed the strong people to people ties between the Philippines and the UAE and discussed opportunities to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the future.
