Idinetalye ni Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Alfredo Pascual sa isang press briefing na inorginanisa ng PCO ang naging talakayan ng ahensya kasama si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong araw, ika-6 ng Hunyo. Ayon sa Trade Chief, inaprubahan ng Pangulo ang Philippine Export Development Plan (PEDP) 2023-2028 upang paigtingin ang kakayahan ng bansa sa pag-export sa pamamagitan ng pagresolba sa mga isyung kinakaharap ng iba't ibang sektor. Sinagot din ng kalihim ang iba pang katanungan ng media kaugnay ng PEDP, inflation rate, pati na rin ng free trade agreement ng Pilipinas kasama ang European Union.
