Personal na iniabot ng Pangulo ang karagdagang tulong ng pamahalaan, tulad ng cash aid at family food packs, sa mga evacuees upang masigurong natutugunan ang kanilang mga pangunahing pangangailangan. Naghatid din ng paunang tulong ang iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno, kabilang ang DSWD, OCD, lokal na pamahalaan ng Albay, at mga pribadong grupo at institusyon sa mga apektadong residente.
