Sa isang press briefing na inorganisa ng Presidential Communications Office, tinalakay ni Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian ngayong araw ang "Walang Gutom 2027", isang food stamp program para tugunan ang kagutuman at kahirapan ng mga nangangailangan na pamilyang Pilipino. Ibinahagi ng DSWD chief na ang naturang programa ay planong ipatupad gamit ang electronic benefit transfers system para sa food credits na nagkakahalaga ng Php 3,000. Ito ay ibibili ng pagkain sa mga DSWD-accredited retailers. Layon nito na matulungan ang mga mahihirap na pamilya na may kinikita lang na mas mababa pa sa Php 8,000 kada buwan.
