Sa Retreat Session ng 42nd ASEAN Summit, inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na nakatuon ang Pilipinas sa pagpapatupad ng Declaration of the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) para sa mapayapang pagresolba sa mga isyu sa West Philippine Sea. Binigyang-diin ng Pangulo ang pagkakaisa ng bawat bansa sa pagsusulong ng hangarin at pagpapaunlad ng buong ASEAN. Nanawagan din si PBBM sa Myanmar na sumunod ito sa Five-Point Consensus.
PINALAKAS NA AKSYON KONTRA-SMUGGLING
Sa inspeksyon ng nasabat na smuggled electronic vapes sa Maynila, binigyang-pugay ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga ahensya para sa tuloy-tuloy na pagkumpiska ng smuggled goods sa bansa.
