Sa Retreat Session ng 42nd ASEAN Summit, inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na nakatuon ang Pilipinas sa pagpapatupad ng Declaration of the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) para sa mapayapang pagresolba sa mga isyu sa West Philippine Sea. Binigyang-diin ng Pangulo ang pagkakaisa ng bawat bansa sa pagsusulong ng hangarin at pagpapaunlad ng buong ASEAN. Nanawagan din si PBBM sa Myanmar na sumunod ito sa Five-Point Consensus.

PBBM receives credentials from non-resident ambassadors
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received the credentials of the non-resident ambassadors from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Portuguese Republic, the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of Honduras, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Rwanda, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The ambassadors include H.E. François Nkuna Balumuene, H.E. Miguel de Mascarenhas de Calheiros Velozo, H.E. Analisa Lianna Low, H.E. Victor Hugo Rojas González, H.E. Harold Burgos, H.E. Pavlin Todorov, H.E. Marie Claire Mukasine, and H.E. Michel Leesch.
