The Philippines led discussions at Roundtable Theme 2: Skilling Migrants for Employment on Day 4 of the 13th Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) Summit hosted by UAE. As co-chair, the Philippines emphasised the need to contextualise skilling as uplifting human dignity and human rights, citing that for the Duterte Administration, skilling is more than increasing productivity or responding to labor needs.
