Naniniwala ang Pangulo na malaki ang maitutulong ng proyekto sa pagbubukas ng mga bagong oportunidad sa pagpapaunlad ng kalakalan at pagnenegosyo sa rehiyon. Target na matapos ang BCIB sa 2025 na may kabuuang pondo na Php 175.6 bilyon at inaasahang mapapaikli nito ang biyahe sa pagitan ng Bataan at Cavite mula mahigit limang oras hanggang 45 na minuto.
