Ayon kay Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity chief Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., malaking tulong sa pagsusulong ng kapayapaan ang pagtatalaga ng pangulo ng 80 miyembro ng Bangsamoro Transition Authority o BTA na binubuo ng ilang kinatawan mula sa grupo ng Moro National Liberation Front’s (MNLF) Misuari at Sema-Jikiri kasama na ang ilan sa mga anak ng mga lider ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). Mayroon din mga representante buhat sa ibat-ibang sektor.
Dagdag pa ni Galvez Jr., isa pang maituturing na tagumpay ng Bangsamoro peace process ay ang di malilimutang pagtatapos ng halos 46 taon na paghihiwalay ng MNLF at MILF nang muling magkita at magkasama ang dalawang lider na sina Murad Ebrahim at Nur Misuari.
Matatandaan noong inagurasyon ng BTA, hinikayat din ng Pangulo ang pagsulong ng "Electoral Code, Local Government Code, Revenue Code, at Indigenous Peoples' Code" sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao’s (BARMM) codes.

President Marcos Jr. confers with the Executive Secretary, the Economic Cluster (DOF, DBM, and NEDA) and the Secretary of Public Works and Highways while reviewing the proposed national budget for next year. The printed copy of the spending measure was received late Friday afternoon. President Marcos Jr. hopes to act on the measure before the year ends.

Marcos Jr. on Thursday expressed optimism on the strengthening partnership between the Philippines and Japan on defense, security and economic concerns. “I’m very optimistic of the continuing strengthening of our partnership not only in terms of defense and security but even in the economic [area],” President Marcos said in a courtesy call of Japan’s National Security Adviser Akiba Takeo at the Malacañan Palace.
