Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang unang Konsyerto sa Palasyo (KSP) na handog para sa ating Sandatahang Lakas, na ginanap kahapon ika-22 ng Abril. Ito din ay isang aktibidad upang bigyan ng entablado ang ating mga talentandong local artist.
Tampok sa unang KSP ang Samiweng Singers ng Ilocos Norte, Musical Director Jeddi Cris Celeste ng Iloilo City, at ang mag-amang harpists na sina Benedicto Costaños Sr. at Benedicto Costaños Jr. ng Cebu.
Nagtanghal din para sa AFP sina Poppert Bernadas ng Davao, Princess Vire ng Quezon City, Limuel Llanes ng Quezon Province; Rappers Marco Paolo Revidiso ng Parañaque City, A.K. Fella, Glnn, at MC Julyo ng Cavite, at Spoken Word Artist Kenli Marc Sibayan ng Ilocos Norte.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wants government agencies to reexamine the administration’s programs contained in the National Expenditure Program (NEP) but were defunded by Congress.

After thorough review and scrutiny, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. signed the 2025 national budget on Monday. The 2025 national budget, initially amounting to PhP6.352 trillion was reduced to PhP6.326 trillion following the veto of PhP194 billion worth of line items deemed inconsistent with the administration’s priority programs.

President Marcos Jr. confers with the Executive Secretary, the Economic Cluster (DOF, DBM, and NEDA) and the Secretary of Public Works and Highways while reviewing the proposed national budget for next year. The printed copy of the spending measure was received late Friday afternoon. President Marcos Jr. hopes to act on the measure before the year ends.
