Marcos Jr. sa C130T Aircraft na may mga Tail Number na 5011 at 5040, at nagmasid ng demonstrasyon ng kakayahan ng Hermes 900 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle at ng C208B Grand Caravan EX nitong Biyernes Sa kanyang talumpati, binigyang-diin niya na mahalagang magkaroon ng mga air asset ang bansa upang matiyak na magiging mabilis ang pagpapadala ng impormasyon, tulong, at mga responders sa mga apektadong lugar sa oras ng mga natural na kalamidad tulad ng bagyo, lindol, at pagsabog ng bulkan.
Upang masuri ang lawak ng pinsala mula sa patuloy na pananalasa ng Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, nagsagawa si Pangulong Ferdinand R.
