President Rodrigo Roa Duterte Meets with Returning OFW
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence Go gave a warm welcome to returning overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Pahima Alagasi and her family during a meeting at the Coco's South Bistro Restaurant in Davao City on April 14, 2018.
During the meeting, the President expressed his happiness over the resolution of the case of Alagasi who was allegedly abused by her employer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia some four years ago.
The President then reiterated his administration's compassion towards OFWs citing that the government is willing to help the Filipinos based in the Middle East. But while the President, expressed his compassion towards OFWs, he also reminded them to be extra careful in the dealing the laws and customs of foreign countries.
The President handed over a check worth P100,000 and cash worth P20,000 from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to the family while the Special Assistant to the President gave Alagasi a Cherry Mobile Phone Selfie Flare S6. Alagasi was also offered an employment opportunity as a Welfare Officer at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Riyadh.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the historic unveiling of the first Philippine polymer banknote series on Thursday. The President described the introduction of the polymer banknotes as a groundbreaking step embodying the nation’s strength, ingenuity, and forward momentum.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday recognized outgoing Philippine Air Force (PAF) Commanding General Lieutenant General Stephen P. Parreño. In his speech, President Marcos highlighted Parreño’s commitment to “Accelerate PAF with Excellence” imbued by the institution’s values of competence, professionalism, and responsiveness.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday honored overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) for their exemplary contribution to national development.

A total of 14 state communicators were honored at the “Parangal: Gawad ng Kahusayan sa Komunikasyong Pampubliko” by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Monday. The PCO named Lupon, Davao Oriental as the winner of the Public Service Campaign Award (municipal level) for its Kinahanglan Maligdong: Project iCORE (Communication, Organization, Response, and Engagement) campaign.

Personal na binati ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ng maligayang Pasko ang mga taga-suporta ng kanyang administrasyon sa “Pasasalamat Mula sa Pangulo: Pasko ng Tiwala at Suporta” ngayong ika-16 ng Disyembre.
Sa kanyang mensahe, ipinagtibay ni PBBM ang layuning pagbutihin pa ang paglilingkod, at hinikayat ang supporters na makiisa sa patuloy na pagsulong sa mga adhikain ng gobyerno sa ilalim ng Bagong Pilipinas.
